Give this man

a copy of the UN charter and rules…

Ref: Russia invading Georgia… Bill Richardson says…” My view is that the United States — if we had a stronger relationship with Russia, we could exercise strong diplomacy to stop this effort against Georgia. We should immediately go to the United Nations Security Council, condemn Russia’s action, and then get the Security Council to pass a strong resolution getting the Russians to show some restraint [emphasis mine], and possibly at the same time generate some U.N. peacekeeping troops.

Did this outstanding Democrat [sarc alert] miss the part where Russia gets a security councel veto?  Or does he think that Russia will condemn itself and/or vote to send U.N. peacekeeping troops to do something versus Russia?

Richardson also says…”we’d have the kind of influence to persuade them to stop some of these very, very dangerous efforts within their territory…”  Bill, darling, it is NOT Russia’s territory.  Let me know and I will send you an actual map.

South Ossetia hasn’t been Russian territory in over 16 years…Russia attacked Georgia proper over the weekend…[did Russia think everyone was watching the Olympics?]

IF Bill Richardson is one of the best Democrats on foreign policy, that is a very spooky prospect ref the high possibility of an Obama Presidency.
